Desiring to make a bigger impact in Michigan this year, we at RetroFoam of Michigan are pleased to announce our desire to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Michigan, an organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

"We like to know that we are making a difference,” said Mark Massey, owner of RetroFoam of Michigan. “It can be hard to find a charity that we know our efforts are going to the cause. We’ve seen first hand that feeling that a child gets when their wish has been granted through Make-A-Wish, and we want to see more of that."

For every home we insulate, a minimum of $5 will benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan. We are excited to involve our customers in this initiative as we work to make their homes more comfortable and energy efficient.

RetroFoam of Michigan will also have a small team of riders participate in the Annual Wish-A-Mile Bicycle Tour this July. This signature event of Make-A-Wish Michigan is a three day, 300 mile journey starting in Traverse City and ending on the race track at Michigan International Speedway.

Since 1984, Make-A-Wish Michigan has granted more than 8,500 wishes. This year the organization’s goal is to reach more than 440 kids - more than a wish per day. Wish experiences can be pivotal points in the course of a child’s treatment, helping them feel better and providing an emotional boost.

We are hoping our efforts can help provide one or two of the 440 wishes granted in Michigan in 2016, each making a big difference in the life of a child and their family.
