Our Commitment to Keeping Customers and Employees Safe During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

RetroFoam of Michigan's Response to COVID-19

At RetroFoam of Michigan, we strive to treat every house "like grandma’s house” - giving each project our best work with the professionalism and respect we would want our own grandmother treated with.

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts the daily life of families in Michigan and across the country, the health and safety of our customers, employees, and all the grandma’s out there is our top priority, especially as we prepare to return to work.

Safety is Our Priority

The “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive order by Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been lifted, but we continue to practice safety measures to ensure the health and well-being of everyone we come in contact with.

On May 1 Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-70 as part of her MI Safe Start plan. This executive order allowed construction, real-estate activities, and work that is done outdoors to resume on May 7. Previously we had paused all in-person operations to adhere to the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” guidelines.

In accordance with guidelines set forth in the MI Safe Start plan, we have adopted measures to protect our employees, as well as the homeowners we work with.

Keeping Our Employees and Customers Safe

Now that we are able to resume giving estimates in the home, as well as installations, we are taking every precaution to keep our customers and employees safe.

These precautions include:

  • Following all CDC health recommendations (it’s not that we don’t like you, it just isn’t a good idea to shake hands right now).
  • Practicing social distancing and staying 6-feet apart.
  • Wearing face masks when interacting with homeowners and fellow employees.
  • Encouraging sick employees to stay home.
  • Perform routine environmental cleaning.
  • Continuous communication with all employees concerning health and safety.

RetroFoam of Michigan is Here for You

As we navigate these uncharted waters together, we are thinking of the health and safety of our work family, customers, friends, and all the grandma’s out there.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Be safe and we will beat this!
