Icynene has a variety of products for different applications. The Classic Max (open cell) and ProSeal (closed cell) products that we typically use are water-blown foam insulation that not only insulates walls, floors, and ceilings but also provides an air barrier to help prevent drafts and energy loss.

Where can Icynene be used?

In addition, during new construction Icynene can also be used to insulate open walls. Excess material is easily trimmed off to finish with drywall or other material.
Icynene is also an effective method of insulating the exterior walls and roof decks of pole barns.
How is Icynene Installed?
Icynene (open cell) is sprayed into any open cavities where it expands up to 100 times its original volume within seconds to blanket and air seal an area.
For most applications, we typically spray 3-inches of open cell Icynene in open wall cavities, rim joists, and crawl spaces, and 6- to 10-inches into attics.
