A huge incentive is now in place to help City of Holland residents go green with extensive energy efficient home improvements!
Applications are now being accepted for the long-awaited Holland Home Energy Retrofit Program, which provides a 20% cash back incentive for qualifying energy efficient home upgrades greater than $10,000.
With extensive energy upgrades typically needed to maximize a home's comfort and energy savings, this program is designed to help ease the up-front financial investment of the home improvements. Re-insulating a whole house with foam insulation is one of the qualifying upgrades that offers a great return on investment.
In addition, city residents will soon be able to finance these upgrades with a low-interest loan paid back on their monthly electric bill. Originally thought to launch by August, the Holland On-Bill Loan Program has been pushed back to September 1 to fully integrate the processes of Holland BPW and Holland Energy Fund.
RetroFoam of Michigan is an authorized Michigan Saves Contractor, eligible to assist City of Holland Residents with the Home RetroFit and On-Bill Loan Programs. Learn more about these programs here.
